Artist's Comments

I keep doubting about this. I doubt about the title, I doubt about submitting it, about scrapping it. I first titled it Fris. Which is Dutch for 'Fresh', but it's kinda part of the Contra/Versus series, I think. It's sunlight with melting snow, drops. Fresh colors, green with blue skies and snow. Winter contra spring again. Yet another day of snow..

I liked the focus, DOF, colors and tones. I like blue skies, I need sunlight.

Canon 400d, Tokina 100mm f/2.8, Slik master 67 tripod.

You postworked the vignette, hm?
It makes the end of that twig a bit too dark, i think...

Yes, I did. But the end of the twig isn't in focus either ;p

Was there a kind of flashlight in use?
I don't know how you did this : 1/1250s and ISO 100? Even with bright sunlight my cam isn't as fast as this!

Was this the same branch that you took a photo of last time?

Nope, no flashlight =) The sun was very bright. That's the reflection of light you can see as well :aww:

What camera do you have again?

A Canon EOS 400D.. you've got the same, that's what made me wonder.
But allright, I'll try again with great sunlight, maybe it works! ;)

I got a f/2.8 lens, maybe that helped =)
