Something totally different than what I normally do.
It was done for the 'water' contest that #Minolta is having this month. Normally I always know straight away what I want to photograph and exactly what picture I want to submit. This time it was different. I had a lot of ideas, but I just wanted to try something different. This was playing with light and drops, and accidentally this picture reminded me of Holland, the Netherlands.
The shape of the big drop reminded me of Holland itself, the little drops reminded me of the little islands: Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland and Schiermonnikoog (along with some other minor islands).
Holland is below sealevel, we hear that quite often enough. The dark look of the drops reminded me of that, ofcourse it's not a happy, joyfull thing that we're below sealevel, but hey, we've managed to stay dry so far.
Anyway, shot was taken in my kitchen, just playing with drops and light.
