Little blackbird.

While trying out my new Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 USM IS (and 1.4x converter), I stumbled upon a little blackbird that was trying to swim in one of my ponds, instead of trying to fly. So I helped him out of the water and he appeared to be a bit shocked (who wouldn't be?). I took a few shots and I love how this one turned out! The little guy was alright though, but it took him a few days to learn how to fly!

I love the f/2.8 and I don't regret buying this instead of the cheaper f/4. The guy at the store almost fainted when my dad and I came in and told him we where buying two f/2.8's with converters. The guy looked at us with big eyes and started to smile like a little kid and started to tell a lot of stories about the lens and how amazing it is, like he had to convince us to buy them, haha.

I love the silence from the lens, the superb depth of field, the über quick focusing and the realistic colors. I'm seriously impressed. I could recommend it to anyone!
