A better picture of my dog. Wanted to do a portrait of him for my dad.
His name was Pucky, but when we adopted him from the shelter where he just got in, we called him Lucky, since he was being heavily abused by his previous owner. He was scared of everything, he didn't know what cars were, he was afraid of people, fast movements and he barely wanted to be touched by his back or tail. He's still pretty scared of sticks and umbrella's, but he's turning around still. He learned commands, walking on a leash (he didn't know what was happening when he first had to walk on a leash). In spite of all that happened to him, he jumped up and down when we first met. My dad brought him home, I got home from work and I didn't know he was there, behind the door. The second I opened the door, he was jumping at me, wagging his tail like a maniac. That was four years ago, and he's turning seven this year.
Another shot taken with the Lensbaby 2.0, Canon 400D, no macro lenses, nor tripod.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
