"The Bengal tiger or the Royal Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris)"

It's been a while since I've submitted something, but I think this is worth it.

Taken in Burgers Zoo in Arnhem, the Netherlands. I was so damn close to the animal that I was basically face to face. Thank gosh there was glass. I'm pretty much amazed that there's no glass visible, since it was very dirty. It's taken with a 50mm 1.4 and people who've used those can probably imagine how close this beautiful animal was.

The weather was absolutely perfect which made the contrast really stand out in this picture. Thought about cropping it to square, but my heart and mind both said no. I didn't do much with this picture either, levels, curves, the basics, really..

Hope you like it! Glad to be back(ish)!

Happiness is like peeing your pants, other people can see it but can't feel its warmth.

I was extremely surprised that the dirt was all gone

He was laying in a 'cave' and there was glass on one side, which happens to be on the side of the sun. He was enjoying the sunlight and the rest of the cave was filled with shadows :bucktooth:
