I think the work you did on the manipping is ABSOLUTELY fantastic, but I don't really see this getting the message across of torn. The butterflies... confuse me. However, looking at it from the point of view of person who can't manip like this to save her life, it's perfection.

Thanks so much for the 'ABSOLUTELY fantastic' Did my best on this. ^_^. I'm known with friends for my deeper thoughts about titles. My titles sometimes don't have anything to do with what the 'regular' eye will see hehe. I'll try to explain this one. The photo of ~Dan14Stock has been torned by me, to fit these polaroids. Polaroids are photos and 'fragments of life'. Fragments in my eyes are like 'torning a moment out of a life' (Torning is a bit overreacted ). Also the difference between the black and white and the colours in it, are to me a big thing in this one. You can see life in black and white, coloured or a combination with those two. In this case with this piece Dan looks torned. The emotions that he captured in this shot are showing that he's screaming, which can point at misery, anger, sadness but also feeling torned. When I feel torned I look at everything in black and white, I can't see the beauty anymore.. Therefore one butterfly is coloured and the other one is black and white .
That the same butterflies confuse you, was meant to happen. Being confused can torn you apart.
