I'm not too sure about this one yet. I'm not really familiar with Nature shots, since I (almost) always do macro photography. This shot had something though. I took a lot of photographs from these horses, since this is just one from an entire group.
The shot was taken on a mini holiday in my own country, the Netherlands. I woke up every day around 5.15 or 5.30 am. I walked around a bit, took hikes, but every day I just had to go to these horses. Even if they were on the other side of the fields, they were curious enough (every day) to come check me out. They weren't really domesticated, that's why I've put it in Wild animals. They weren't amongst people, there was no farm, as the Domesticated animal category says. They were in the middle of the forest of Diever, Drenthe.
I took a lot of shots of them, so you might see more of them.
Not too sure about the lighting, but it was hard since the sun was just rising.
Shot with a Canon 400D & Tokina 100mm f/2.8
Edit March 31st, 2008. Apparently dA thought different, since it's been moved to Domesticated Animals.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
