`pulbern (https://www.deviantart.com/pulbern)
Hey everyone! My name is Adam and I am a multi-disciplinary artist and nursing student hailing from the Canadian prairies. Through the years I have fallen madly in love creating with many different art mediums (collage, photography, painting, poetry, and prose). My introduction into the art world began twelve years ago when I was a thirteen year old angsty pre-teen lurking on a book publisher forum. I was sent a link to my internet friends profile page that led me to this ti
‘Twas the night before Christmas on DeviantArt,
Not a paintbrush was stirring, and creators took heart.
The artists scrolled through Daily Deviations with care
Knowing kindred warm-fuzzies soon would be there.
Deviants were all swiping, all snug on their phones
While visions of inspiration across all time zones
Were zapped to their smart device, quick as can be,
At the tap of a button in a +Fav’ing spree!
When across the Interwebs there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to the Comments to see what was the matter,
“I’m bored,” the Journal wrote, “I’m on a long trip, too.
I don’t have my laptop, an

Introducing the Premium Content Platform by Heidi, journal
Introducing the Premium Content Platform
DeviantART is proud to announce our Premium Content Platform
Providing the ability for content creators to become sellers and generate real earnings by making digital files of their high-quality work available for download. Sellers are able to set their own prices while retaining 80% of all revenue earned, and buyers are able to quickly get the things they want with the satisfaction of supporting the artists they love.
What is Premium Content?
The Premium Content Platform was built to represent high-quality content — the premier pieces in an artist's repertoire of work. We encourage the sale of everything from comics or stor

Eight years ago, LadyLincoln (https://www.deviantart.com/ladylincoln) gave me my first Daily Deviation on my first account. At the time I didn't really know how to process that. I'd only been on DeviantArt for about eight months, and it seemed like one of those things that didn't happen to very many people. At the time I didn't really expect that I would ever get one, but then suddenly I had one, and I had no idea what to do.
Since then, I've received four other Daily Deviations, given out more than 200 of them myself, volunteered here for two years and worked here for three. I've learned a lot, made some very important friendships, and had life experiences that had I missed, I do

Promoting Growth With Comments, Crit!mas Vol. 1
Some of you may be aware that I've been ill of late; as such, I must apologize for the delay in all of my regularly scheduled postings.
To start off February, I'm featuring the participants of the Crit!mas challenge issued by BeccaJS (https://www.deviantart.com/beccajs). This was, of course, one of their promised prizes. ;) I think this is fitting, given that the site has recently announced their endeavor to help the community grow by encouraging newer deviants to comment on works when they submit something (the idea being that if you receive a comment, you generally check out the commenter's page and might find something there you'd like to comment on as well).
